Enable again the slackware current repo. Sometimes when upgrades happen to slackware current i have to upgrade the repo manually. So try later to run "sudo slapt-get -u". If you disable the repo , then packages which exist on slackware and not in slackel repos, will be downloaded from salix repos and maybe will break your system.
